The two-day course allows sufficient time to
learn about types of glass and the basic techniques of cutting, shaping
and assembling a project in either lead or copper foil. Minimum 12 hours
of tuition

- Daytime course fees
include tuition, sufficient materials for the projects
undertaken, use of tools and equipment, lunch each
day, unlimited tea or coffee during the day and the
satisfaction of taking home a project built by
yourself. Extras, such as lamp bases and electrical
fittings for lamps are available for purchase.
Materials and basic tools are also available for sale
and a discount is offered to course attendees.

for tuition only, materials are charged extra
- There is excellent accommodation in the
area and an abundance of castles and distilleries to
visit.
Tomintoul is on the Crown Estate of Glenlivet and
there are miles of beautiful walks and cycle tracks as
well as a variety of Salmon and Trout fishing. Royal
Deeside and Inverness are barely an hour’s journey
from the village.

Hampers
We have redesigned our hampers and all are
now supplied in an eco-friendly (and extremely useful) jute
shopping bag. Once you have enjoyed the contents you will
still have a very useful bag. The larger ones can be used
for shopping and the smaller one is really useful to hold
your clothes pegs - please let us know if you discover any
other uses!
